Our walk
We went for a walk up the Hackett to the hut and it took us about 1hour and 15 min instead of 1hour and 45 minutes. It was really hot and a lot of people were swimming in the river. My brother and I took out bikes while mum and dad walked. Some people had dogs with them. We went and had a look at the waterfall (Whispering Falls) but because there has been no rain it wasn't very big. The water was coming out of moss at the top of the hill.

That sounds like a good thing to do in the holidays. You must have motored to get there in such a short time. Did you go for a swim when you got there to cool off.
It was s ahme the Whispering Falls were only whispering- you should go back after a good rain and see what it's like then.
Are you all ready for Intermediate- new uniform, shoes, books, lunchbox!! Not long to go now!

I am all ready for Intermediate next week, only have to get my books from the school. No we didn't go for a swim, were going to at the river by the carpark but there were so many people there and more coming there wasn't much space so went to the school pool instead.
