At the River
The other day we all went to the Appleby river with my two cousins. It was a really hot day but I had heaps of sunscreen on so I didn't get burnt. There was a branch in the water by the riverside, there were crawlies and ells underneath it. We caught 4 crawlies and made little pens for them and let them go when we went. There was one really big one and it kept fighting with the others. The water was really warm.

I know. It has been awfully hot. I went over to Motueka today and there were trees down on the road and it rained real hard. No swimming today.
I wonder what river you went to! It certainly has been hot.
